Profile

David earned his black belt gradings while doing KUGB/JKA summer courses at Crystal Palace under the guidance of various Senseis from the Japan Karate Association, including the esteemed Enoeda Sensei.
Although the training was challenging and the passing rate for gradings was low at the time, the relationships he made and the dojos he taught at helped him greatly in the years that would follow as his family moved to Australia in 1982.
