Beerwah Karate

The only Queenslander to represent Australia in the Junior World Titles in Madrid was Riana Loffel, a former student of mine who finished second to Shaun Bell in the 2001 World Junior Championships. Prior to then, she participated in and won bronze at the World Junior Cup and Austrian Open in Corfu.

Since its founding in 1990, the dojo has trained hundreds of students. A competition is held annually in memory of Sensei Mick Belletty, who passed away.

Sensei Ann Hill instructs pupils of various skill levels. Some will be able to compete for national titles, while others may only compete locally.
