Kempo Ryu Karate

The premier Kempo organization in Australia is called as Kempo Ryu, and it is situated in Sydney. While all of our Dojo are in Sydney, we have a large following there and are very involved in the Australian Karate (Martial Arts) scene.
While other Kempo schools are American (Kenpo) or western freestyle based, our style is Japanese; we make an effort to uphold the traditions and customs of Japanese Karate in our instruction and dojo culture. While Kempo is widely regarded as the most effective self-defense method, we do not take this title lightly and recognize that in order to retain this reputation, we must train diligently and strategically.
