An ancient style of unarmed combat known as Tae-Kyon developed in Korea during the Silla Dynasty, some 1300 years ago. Taekwon-do, which originated as the ancient Art of Tae-Kyon, is currently practiced in many different styles all across the globe.
A Rhee Taekwon-do practitioner uses well-trained hands, arms, and feet to quickly dispatch any attackers by employing a variety of dynamic unarmed fighting methods for self-defense. These techniques include the application of strong punches, flying kicks, blocks, dodges, and interceptions.
The President of the Rhee Taekwon-do teachers Federation of Australia and New Zealand, Master Rhee is the recognized founder of Rhee Taekwon-do in Australia. He also serves as the Master Instructor and Chief Instructor for Australia and New Zealand.
