Seikokai Karate Centre

In Brisbane, Seiko-Kai is one of a very small number of dojos with a permanent karate facility. This offers a fantastic environment for training and making new friends for our students.
Since our Headmaster Suzuki Sensei and the senior members of the Seiko-Kai organization still hold close ties to the Japanese and Okinawan roots of karate, our instructors frequently travel to Japan to make sure our instruction meets their standards. Our group teaches primarily self-defense-based karate techniques, but we also cover the sporting side for those who are interested in competitions. We also belong to the Queensland Karate Association Inc. (QKA) and the Australian Karate Federation Inc. (AKF), giving you access to competitive opportunities at the local, state, and national levels.
