Yong-gi Taekwondo

A husband and wife-run Taekwondo organization, Yong-gi Taekwondo Australia, offers self-defense and peace of mind to you and your family. We take pride in upholding the fundamental principles of Taekwondo when we teach a traditional form of the martial art known as original Taekwondo or Chan-Hon Taekwon-do.
We teach all of the original Patterns (Forms, Hyung’s) as an original style of Taekwondo. We don’t take patterns out of our curriculum. As a traditional original style of Taekwondo, we devote all of our time to teaching pupils the various facets of the art appropriate to their rank. We do not participate in or host tournaments or competitions because we are a traditional martial arts school. We think that doing this diverts pupils’ focus from the crucial training needed to advance in their rank.
